All New International Fall Foliage Tour

September 25, 2019 - October 10, 2019

This all new Fall Foliage Trip will start in Vermont and end in Kennebunkport, Maine.  Enjoy 16 nights of camping starting at the Lone Pine Campground in Vermont .  After a  brief Orientation , we will board a bus that will take us to the Spirit of Ethan Allen for a wonderful  Harvest Moon Dinner Cruise.   Wake up to a busy day as we venture out for a day in the Capital’s District .  Take a guided tour of Rock of Ages and walking tour of the Hope Cemetery in City of Barre followed by a stop in Montpelier where we will visit the Vermont State House followed by lunch at the Capital Café where you could find yourself seated next to the Governor.  After touring the Capital Building, we will visit the Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory followed by a trip to the Cold Hollow Cider Mill. On our way back to the campground we will stop at the Sam Mazza’s Farm Market and then experience a great Vermont Fall Harvest Meal including local entertainment.  Day 3 starts again bright and early as we embark to Shelburne Farms and Middlebury, Vermont.  After visiting the Shelburne Farms, we will travel on to the Waybury Inn where we will enjoy a luncheon.  You may remember The Waybury Inn from the “Bob Newhart Television Show”, a  70’s sitcom with Bob Newhart and Suzanne Pleshette.   We will then visit the  Pulp Mill Bridge and on to Dakin Farms where we will end our tour with a Fresh Home cooked meal followed by singing and dancing to the music of the local entertainers.  After traveling through some of the most beautiful scenic  areas, we will arrive at Beech Hill RV Resort in Twin Mountain, New Hampshire.  The Ammonoosuc River is located only 100 yards from the camp entrance. Outstanding views of Mount Washington can also be seen from several points throughout the campground. Experience a sense of adventure and history on the Mount Washington Cog Railway’s   3-hour guided train tour to the highest peak in the Northeast.  Here you will be able to take in the spectacular panoramic view, spanning the mountains and valleys of New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont, north into Canada, and east to the Atlantic Ocean.  Traveling on we will spend 2 nights at the Sussex KOA in New Brunswick, Canada where we will tour the Bay of Fundy and Hopewell Rocks.  This bay lies between the Canadian Provinces New Brunswick and Nova Scotia .  The Bay of Fundy is known for its extremely high tides, as at spots like New Brunswick’s Hopewell Rocks.   Then on to more adventures as we visit Bar Harbor, Maine, one of the best places to visit in Maine & New England located at the edge of the sea with soaring granite cliffs.  We will be camping at the  Bar Harbor KOA Campground which is encompassed by 3,500 feet of Atlantic shoreline and not far from the entrance to Acadia National Park .  You will also be able to enjoy nature’s beauty from the private, rocky beach.  Take a Schooner Cruise on the Margaret Todd.  While in Bar Harbor we will enjoy  the “Improv Acadia” comedy show where comedians improvise on your suggestions!  And of course a Lobster Bake at the Campground before departing Bar Harbor!   To end our trip we will travel to  the Sandy Pines Campground in Kennebunkport, Maine where we will tour this lovely area with great history, Industry, and noteworthy residents.  Here we will get to see the home of George H.W. Bush and the oldest light house in the state of Maine dating back to 1791.  We hope you will join us on this great adventure.  This trip certainly will keep you busy and has many fun tours for you to enjoy.   The days for the bus tours will be long and may require some extra help with pets.   If you are interested in going we will have a payment plan as listed on the back of this flyer.  Register today for the trip of your lifetime!
