It’s Spring in the Smokies! Join the Coachmen Owners Association as we visit the Smoky Mountains during this beautiful season. Enjoy 6 nights of camping at the River Bend Campground located 1/2 mile off of the parkway in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. After our Orientation meeting and dinner on April 28, we will carpool to the Comedy Barn where we will enjoy the most award winning family comedy variety show in the Smoky Mountains. Featuring magicians, jugglers, ventriloquists, comedians, live Country and Gospel music, this show guarantees everyone will laugh! Monday night, we will start the evening off at the Wood Grill Buffet before we enjoy the Country Tonite Show, voted the best show in the Smokies. This is a feel good show that will stay with you long after the event is over. In this fast paced production, you will enjoy a variety of dynamic singing and dancing, side-splitting comedy, powerful gospel, and American patriotism. Tuesday night enjoy an all you can eat buffet followed by The Hit Parade show, featuring some of the top jukebox hits from the early days of rock-n-roll. Rock around the clock with hits from such notable groups and artists as Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, the Everly Brothers, Neil Diamond, the Righteous Brothers, the Supremes, and Elvis Presley. Then travel with us to more recent times with hits from GREASE, Tina Turner, and others. Enjoy a blast to the past with this highly entertaining show! The Dixie Stampede maintains a star studded reputation across the nation for its spectacular special effects and amazing stunts. This wild west show is action packed with horses jumping through rings of fires and is action packed from start to finish. On Thursday, a Southern Homestyle Feast is in the plans before we become part of the longest running feud in history as The Hatfields and McCoys try to settle their differences mountain-style. Whether you’re city-folk or country cuzins, you’ll love the singing and dancing, mighty feats of strength, jaw dropping stunts and side-splitting comedy. After the Hatfield and McCoy show we will get a bonus show at the Smoky Mountain Opry featuring many talented artists, beautiful costumes and incredible special effects. This show features music from the Big Band Era through today’s country with special effects, laser lights, dazzling costumes and high flying musicians! And to top off our exiting week, Friday, after feasting at an all you can eat buffet dinner, we will enjoy the Soul of Motown show. At the Grand Majestic Theatre we will hear the great Motown hit sounds from The Drifters, The Platters, Sam Cooke, Smoky Robinson, Jackson 5, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, The Four Tops, The Temptations, Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight & the Pips, plus many more.
